Yes, I have a pair of these footballing shoes. I’m on my second pair. I don’t recall where exactly I bought them but I’m certain it was 1932.

People marvel when I wear them and when they mark up their Venetian tiled kitchen.
A similar shoe added a spring to George Bailey’s walk home with Mary after the infamous Charleston-into-the-pool scene.
